Literary Focus

#5 Interpret: How would you define the mood of the people on the bus at the beginning of the journey to Camp Harmony? at the end of the journey?

In the beginning of the journey, the people on the bus were kind of happy and excited. In the story, it said “Everyone was quiet except for a chattering group of university students, who soon started singing college songs.” I think whenever people singing, I think they just very happy. Some of the people were happy since they get to move to new place, but some were kind of sad because they were forced to move to the new place.

At the end of the story, the people were disappointed and sad. They didn't think that they going to live in the place like this (kids). They thought they lived like prisoner since with those fences. The place where they lived was dirty and small, so that is why they were disappointed and sad.
