Personal Narrative

Story of Me
“Are you ok, Tina?” Tien asked.
“I think I’m ok.” I replied.
I got used to it. But this time was another story. My bleeding nose hurts so much that my hands immediately cover my face to stop it from spinning around.
The story happened when I was in seventh grade; my friends and I were playing around in the schoolyard. After we had had fun, we sat down on a bench, and talked. While I was talking with my friends, Tyler came, and teased me. He said something but I actually forgot them, so I chased him around the yard with a basket-ball in my hands.
At the time when I was chasing him, Johnny and Tyler were passing the basketball back and forth. For a while, when Tyler had the ball in his hands, immediately he kicked the ball back to Johnny instead of throwing back, because it is basketball. I was standing in front of Tyler’s face, I think the distance is just around one meter, and I was hoping that he knew that I was standing there. He kicked the ball, and as soon as he kicked it, the ball flew straight to my face. This happened so fast, that I can feel the wind was blowing, and strong. I thought I was fine at first, so, I walking towards, but then my nose started to bleed, and the feeling of pain started to come. I was almost fall down to the ground, but then I found my balance back again, I didn’t even moving an inch because it hurts so much. As I expect, I yelled, and my tears fall.
Mindy was right next to me, and she thought the ball would hit her face, but it didn’t, I hit mine. My friends were all freaked out; they didn’t know what to do, so they walked me to the lobby and Mindy ran to the bathroom and took some tissues for me. The security told them to walk me to the nurse room. So they did.
The nurse went home, and no one was there, only some of the office ladies. They helped me to haemostatic, but the blood didn’t stop, it took a very long time for it to stop. My head was spinning, but they put some ice on my forehead, it hurts more and I almost faint. My head was freezing; I didn’t know what to do, but just staring at the ceiling. They told me to stay at home the next day, but I did not
While I was in the nurse room, a security came in and told me I had to go home. Got into the car, my tears fell again, so did the blood. It took another thirty minutes for it to stop bleeding. Then I fell asleep.
Before this happened, if I got hit by the ball, and someone come to teased me, I would throw the ball to that person right away, but now I know what it likes so I’m not going to do that. After this accident, I couldn’t sleep at all, because I keep imagine, and think about it. Sometimes, I even had a nightmare about it, that someone would come to me and throw the ball straight to my face. That is not the only thing that happened to me. Another thing is that I go scared whenever someone played soccer, because I’m afraid that the ball would fly to me again, and because that when you play soccer, we have to use our feet, and it is hard to controls the ball. If you see me just stand there and do nothing while people playing soccer, don’t be surprised. It did happen to me, I just stand there, but the ball still fly to me, no matter where I stand. However I still can play basketball normally, maybe because I think that when we played we know how to controls the ball with our hands.

Literary Focus: Connect

Question:What do you think about people who dislike others who are different from them?

In my opinion, people who dislike others who are different from them are bad. For example, Joe Carp and Frank Reilly are friends of Charlie, and they are both smarter than Charlie, and Charlie is not smart as them, so they always making fun of him. Charlie always think his friends are nice people,  but his friends didn't think of him that way, they think the opposite, they always tease him and make fun of him in front of people. At first, Charlie didn't know that his friends were making fun of him, but after he got operation, he got smarter, and knows that his friends are not good people, and always making fun of him. After the operation, his friends avoid from Charlie, and didn't want him to work at the factory anymore, just because he is smarter than others. Also, his friends are jealous of Charlie. Joe Carp and Frank Reilly don't deserve to be Charlie's friends, because they should be happy for him when he got smarter, but they don't, they avoid him. That is just my opinion, others may have different opinion.
