Literary Focus: Gentleman of Rio en Medio

9) This story is told from the point of view of a narrator who is a character in the story. How might this story differ if Don Anselmo were the narrator?

The story is told from the point of view of a narrator who is a character in the story, so it might be different from Don Anselmo’s point of view. His story might talk more about his feeling.  It would be more specific about how he sold the land, and why did he sell with low price. He also might talk about the Americans (what they looked like, what was the purpose for them to buy that land). He also might show how he was a gentleman, or a kind man. That is what I think Don Anselmo story might be.

  2. You should use the real litterary term for the point of view in this like first, second, or third person. That`s what i was looking for.
